X-ring

Techné's X-ring is a sealing element consisting of four sealing lips with an X-shaped cross-sectional profile. Under pressure, the symmetrical shape of the four-lip X-ring increases the sealing quality and the cross-section holds the ring in position, also in dynamic applications. The dimensions of the X-ring are defined as the dimensions of the O-ring.

Techné has X-rings in NBR, FPM and EPDM on stock. On request, we can also machine X-rings in various materials.
